Anti-Assad rebels: Here's what we'll do with his chemical weapons

With Bashar Assad's regime seemingly collapsing and much of his arsenal falling into rebel hands, Israel and others are increasingly nervous as to what will happen with his chemical weapons.

Anti-Assad rebels published a statement today (Saturday) regarding Bashar Assad's chemical arsenal, which may end up falling into their hands.

According to the statement, they are willing to fully cooperate with international bodies on the matter. They also promised they will not allow such weapons to reach irresponsible hands and that use of such weapons "as the Assad regime" did is contrary to their religious faith.

Israel in particular has been very on edge regarding the possible fall of such weapons into the hands of any one of the terrorist groups operating in Syria, and even reportedly launched a number of air strikes to destroy them or prevent their fall into terrorist hands.
