A terrorist prisoner is suspected of trying to smuggle graffiti messages on his body to relatives of prisoners, the Israel Prison Service announced today (Thursday). Other prisoners suspected of involvement in the incident will be disciplined.

During a search of minor security prisoners as part of their release from the prison in the center of the country, inscriptions containing messages on their bodies were found, apparently intended for relatives of other prisoners.

Following the seizure, an in-depth intelligence investigation was conducted, following which another search was conducted in the cell of those involved. During the search, the prison soldiers found an improvised pen that was apparently used to write the messages.

The Israel Prison Service said in a statement: "We view with great severity an attempt to smuggle messages into and outside the walls of both security and criminal prisons. The incarceration fighters will continue to act with determination and professionalism in order to prevent such attempts."
