U.S. intelligence has assessed that Hezbollah has begun to rebuild its terror infrastructure, Reuters reported Wednesday.

According to the report, despite Hezbollah's crushing defeat, U.S. intelligence monitoring the terror organization assesses that Hezbollah is trying to rebuild its ammunition stockpiles with the help of Iran and thus to pose a long-term threat to the United States and its regional allies, according to four sources who reported to Reuters.

It was also said that Hezbollah has also begun recruiting additional terrorists to its ranks, after a series of significant assassinations, and has tried to find ways to rearm itself through local production or smuggling materials through Syria, a senior U.S. official and an Israeli official said.
