US intelligence agencies believe that Hezbollah is at "its lowest point in decades," having lost half its firepower and thousands of troops, according to Reuters.
However, the terrorist organization still has a substantial standing force and is working to recruit new soldiers, and it is also working to rebuild weapons manufacturing capabilities and smuggling routes via Syria.
Maintaining the weapons supply routes via Syria is now an open question, given the continued advance of anti-Assad forces against major cities and transportation routes. Hezbollah enjoyed the support of Assad in exchange for their help against these forces, so it's not clear if the rebels will allow Hezbollah to enjoy free rein in Syria.
