A State Department spokesperson issued a particularly harsh statement against Israel on Tuesday regarding the death of an aid worker in Khan Yunis.
The incident took place last Saturday, when Israel attacked the southern city of Gaza, killing an aid worker at Save the Children.
State Department Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel expressed the outrage of the United States and the Biden administration over the death of Ahmed Faisal Islam al-Qadi, a 39-year-old Palestinian.
"We are outraged," said the deputy spokesman, "We want more information about this incident," he added.
"The IDF needs to provide more information about this incident. We call on Israel to thoroughly and transparently investigate such actions and take appropriate action in its system."
Last Saturday, the IDF attacked a vehicle belonging to the World Central Kitchen aid organization in Khan Yunis, in which terrorist Ahed Azmi Kadih, who worked for the organization and participated in the massacre on the morning of Simchat Torah, was staying.
