IDF and Shin Bet eliminate three Hamas terrorists who were plotting a terror attack in Samaria

10 hours after the assassination in northeastern Samaria, the IDF and Shin Bet announced that they had eliminated terrorists who were planning to carry out a terrorist attack in the immediate timeframe.

In the joint statement, it was written: "Air Force aircraft attacked this morning (Tuesday), guided by intelligence from the Shin Bet, vehicles in the area of northern Samaria." In the strike, three terrorists from the Hamas terrorist organization, who were planning to carry out a terrorist attack in the immediate timeframe, were killed. After the attack, IDF forces from the Beka'a Valley and Valleys Brigade, the Kfir Brigade, and the Duvdevan Unit raided the attack site, where four weapons of various types were found.

This morning, the IDF announced that an Air Force aircraft attacked a group of terrorists in an open area near the village of Al-Aqaba in the Beqaa and Valleys Brigade.

According to Palestinian reports, 3 terrorists who were on their way to carry out an attack were eliminated in the strike. Additionally, there were reports of exchanges of fire between armed individuals and IDF forces that arrived at the attack site. The village of Al-Aqaba is part of the pentagon of villages in northern Samaria and is the closest to Jenin. Nearby is the city of Tubas, and the villages of Mitlon and Tayaseer.

About three months ago, the IDF eliminated 5 terrorists from the air in Tubas, who posed a threat to the forces operating in the area as part of the operation in northern Samaria.

A week earlier, 7 terrorists were eliminated in an airstrike in Tubas, including Muhammad, the son of the terrorist Zakaria Zubeidi. In a video released by the IDF spokesperson, terrorists are seen throwing explosives at IDF forces, and in response, the Air Force eliminates them.
