Major General (Res.) Israel Ziv, former head of the Operations Division, was interviewed today (Tuesday) on Radio 103fm about the ceasefire violation: "It won't escalate, they are in a difficult situation, they are unable to replenish their forces." However, part of the painful defeat they suffered, they are trying to show, 'we are still here'. "It is not within their power to renew it for a campaign, the cost of the loss is several times higher – the most important thing is to respond."

Last night, the first violation of the ceasefire in Lebanon occurred, with 2 rockets fired from Lebanon towards Mount Dov, landing in an open area. The IDF spokesperson stated that "the terrorist organization Hezbollah launched two projectiles towards the Mount Dov area a short while ago, which fell in open areas, with no casualties."

The IDF Operations and Intelligence Divisions prepared a 'blow for the violation of the agreement' by Hezbollah, with the targets chosen in advance, as reported by military commentator Yossi Yehoshua.

"If we don't respond forcefully the first time and set the rules, we will be dragged into a war of attrition." "We must not contain," warned a senior IDF officer who formulated the plan a few days ago. Now, according to the report, the choice is Netanyahu's and Katz's.
