Itamar Marcus, director of the Palestinian Media Watch research institute, described Monday in Israel Hayom that Palestinian television demonizes Jews and compares them to the Nazis.

"It is important for the Palestinians to show that not only the Jew is bad, but also our tradition," Marcus stated.

Palestinian commentator Alyan Al-Hindi claimed that during the olive season, Jewish religious rulings are published stating that eating olives stolen from Arabs is considered more kosher than those harvested inside Israeli territory.

"We have heard claims in the past that religious rulings require the killing of Palestinians and Palestinian children. Here they bring something very topical – the olive harvest," Marcus added, emphasizing: "They claim that many halachic rulings permit eating stolen olives rather than Jewish-owned olives. Of course, the issue here goes beyond the olives – the goal is to present our spirit as evil, as if evil is inherent in our tradition."

Marcus referred to the way the terrorists' prison conditions are presented: "There are claims that it is worse than the conditions in the Nazi concentration camps. Of course, this is a plot detached from reality. The Palestinian prisoner is considered an admired figure in their society. They present the conditions as extremely difficult, but in practice, this is far from the truth."
