IDF Spokesperson Daniel Hagari spoke today (Monday) with Sky News Arabic, discussing Israel's view of recent developments in Syria and its attitude towards the ceasefire in Lebanon.

During the interview, Hagari said that Iran was sending dozens of reinforcement from among pro-Iranian militias and members of the IRGC to Syria as well as weapons, and that "we will prevent Iranian weapons" from reaching Syria.

Hagari stressed that Israel's main concern regarding Syria is protecting Israel from any threats that might stem from any of the forces there and that they are focused on preventing these.

Regarding the situation in Lebanon, Hagari said that "we are committed to the ceasefire agreement...to ensure that the threat of Hezbollah doesn't exist anymore." He further said that "it is an interest of the Lebanese government not to allow any threat from Hezbollah against Israeli security."
