Israeli forces have discovered video evidence of Hamas terrorists planting explosive devices in civilian buildings in northern Gaza.
The footage was recovered during operations by the Kfir Brigade in Beit Lahia and Jabalia, where troops continue to uncover and neutralize extensive networks of improvised explosive devices (IEDs). In one notable discovery, soldiers found a camera containing video of terrorists actively booby-trapping a building that was later destroyed by IDF forces.
A separate raid on a weapons cache yielded similar evidence, with recovered video showing a terrorist concealing explosives in a rigged apartment. The weapons and explosives from this location were seized by Israeli forces.
"These discoveries demonstrate the systematic way Hamas transforms civilian infrastructure into military assets," said an IDF spokesperson. The military also reported finding and destroying a rocket launch site near one of the booby-trapped buildings.
The operations are part of ongoing efforts by Division 162 and the Kfir Brigade Combat Team to clear terrorist infrastructure in northern Gaza. Forces continue to encounter and eliminate armed militants while working to dismantle explosive trap networks designed to target Israeli soldiers.
