Nine people were injured last Friday in a shooting attack at the Giti-Avisar junction near Ariel in Samaria. Three people were seriously injured and all the others were lightly injured. The terrorist, who was wearing a vest, was killed at the scene.

Footage released Sunday evening from the scene of the attack shows the bus that was hit standing at the station and picking up people, with two IDF soldiers standing next to it talking to each other. Suddenly, fire opens on the bus from the other side, and windows explode as a result of the shooting.

The two fighters jump up to take up a position and try to get a line of fire for the terrorist and turn around the bus and shoot at him. Seconds later, they are joined by an armed civilian, apparently a reserve soldier.

The terrorist was Samer Hussein, 46, a father of five from the Palestinian village of Einabus, south of Nablus. He had previously served a prison sentence in an Israeli prison. At first, the security establishment suspected that another terrorist had escaped from the scene, but later this suspicion was dismissed.
