Baruch Dayan HaEmet: The courtyard of the Toldot Aharon Hasidic community was in shock with the passing yesterday (Tuesday) of the late Rabbi Avraham Shmuel Binyamin Halevi Shisha, one of the heads of the Toldot Aharon institutions, and who for many years served as a member of the board of directors of the Haredi community. He passed away at the age of 64.

Bhadrei Haredim learned that on the last Sukkot holiday he had a cardiac event and by the grace of Heaven he was strengthened and rehabilitated, but passed away suddenly in the early morning.

The deceased was born in Jerusalem on 7 Sivan 5702 to Rabbi Meir Halevi Shisha z"l, and when he arrived in Perko he married his wife, the daughter of Rabbi Yeshayahu Klein z"l.

Reb Shmuel was a polymath engaged in many Torah activities, all his days he was involved in acts in charity. From his youth, the Rebbe Aharon zt"l assigned him to serve as a member of the board of directors of the Toldot Aharon institutions, and for nearly forty years he dealt with and bore the burden of all the institutions.
