Galilee under fire
Karmiel and Kibbutz Sasa hit by rockets - shrapnel injures one woman
Hezbollah's relentless barrage disrupts northern Israel with over 100 rockets in 24 hours; damage reported at two schools in Kibbutz Sasa.

Sirens sounded this morning (Tuesday) in the Upper Galilee and reports were received of injuries in the city of Karmiel, where one woman was injured by shrapnel, and another in Kibbutz Sasa where two schools were hit without casualties.
In Kibbutz Sasa, a number of reports were received of damage to structures in the kibbutz, including the Anne Frank High School and the Nof Harim Elementary School. Fortunately, the schools have not been active in the kibbutz since the beginning of the war and therefor there were no casualties.
In Karmiel a direct hit was identified on a house where extensive property damage was caused. One woman sustained minor injuries from shrapnel and is receiving medical treatment.
The IDF Spokesperson reports that about 25 launches were identified that crossed into Israeli territory from Lebanon, some of which were intercepted.
