Arab media outlets report that the terrorist organization Hamas has established a new police unit aimed at overseeing humanitarian aid and prices in the Gazan markets. This is a desperate move by Hamas, which understands that its only way to survive for a few more months is to take control of humanitarian aid under the guise of a "police unit."

In recent weeks, Hamas has recruited dozens of new young people for the new police unit, and these are young people who operate as terrorists on behalf of the organization, in exchange for food for themselves and their families. The unit is being established under the guise of responding to residents' complaints about exorbitant prices in the Gazan markets, but it is actually an attempt by Hamas to take control of the goods entering the Gaza Strip.

A resident of Gaza told i24NEWS: "This police force operates alongside popular committees and clan representatives to secure food convoys, but in reality, it is responsible for seizing the trucks that mainly arrive from the southern part of the strip, from the Kerem Shalom crossing."

Another resident recounted: "This is how Hamas ensures its control over the residents of the Gaza Strip." The new police unit is responsible for setting up checkpoints and operating gangs that act on its behalf, robbing truck drivers and collecting "transit fees," sometimes amounting to up to $27,000 per truck or 50% of the value of its contents.
