ONLY IN ISRAEL

Only in Israel: Strangers leave note and cash for bride and groom they don't even know

It's these kind of heartwarming moments that are everything good about Israel today.

Here's a heartwarming slice of Israeli life that'll make you smile: A newly married couple got a surprise wedding gift from complete strangers who weren't even at their wedding - they just happened to be partying next door.

The mystery guests, who signed their note as "Adiel Vakinin and family," left 400 shekels and explained they were actually there to see famous Israeli singer Lior Narkis at another event in the venue. But after catching some of the vibes from the couple's celebration happening next door, they felt moved to join in the simcha (celebration) - Israeli style.

"We were guests in the adjacent hall and came to see Lior Narkis and we really enjoyed it," read their sweet note. "You had a beautiful wedding and we hope that you will have a wonderful life ahead."

Only in Israel would complete strangers leave you cash, and basically say "thanks for letting us accidentally enjoy your special day!" It's the kind of uniquely Israeli moment that shows how even strangers treat each other like mishpacha (family).

The story's going viral on social media, with Israelis sharing similar tales of random acts of wedding kindness - because let's face it, in Israel, everyone's invited to the simcha, whether they know it or not!
