During the night (between Wednesday and Thursday), the Israeli Air Force intercepted two UAVs launched from the east, Iraq, apparently towards Israeli territory, the IDF Spokesperson announced.

According to a statement issued by the IDF, "The Air Force intercepted, in Syrian skies, an unmanned aerial vehicle launched from the east and making its way into Israeli territory. The vehicle was intercepted before it crossed into Israeli territory."

This is the second drone launched from the east and successfully intercepted by the Israeli Air Force over Syria last night. The two aircraft were intercepted, as stated, before crossing into Israeli territory.
