Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today (Wednesday) in the Knesset with the Forum of Reserve Soldiers' Wives, which represents the spouses of reserve service members. The Prime Minister heard from them about the challenges arising from participating in the prolonged war effort.
During the meeting, the conclusions reached by the forum of ministry directors regarding assistance for reservists' families were presented. The Prime Minister instructed to promote the decisions that include: examining the establishment of a comprehensive organization in the Ministry of Defense, increasing direct economic assistance due to employment damage, prioritizing appointments in the mental health system for partners and children, promoting registration for daycare centers, expanding vouchers for professional training, and more.
Netanyahu instructed to reduce the bureaucratic burden on the servicemen as much as possible so that they can fully realize their rights, and to prioritize and appreciate their significant contribution to the country's security.
According to the Prime Minister: "The reservists and you constitute a significant part in advancing the goals of the multi-front 'Resurgence War' and breaking the axis of evil that surrounded us." The State of Israel will remain strong thanks to the servicemen and thanks to you.
The burden is immense, and the first thing is to express appreciation for the great effort you are making, and the second is to express our commitment to help you in a way that has not been done until today. We will monitor the implementation of the decisions so that you receive what you need and what you deserve.
