Report: Hezbollah likely to reject these two parts of the ceasefire proposal

Israel and the United States are about ready to send a draft proposal to be sent via Amos Hochstein to Lebanon and Hezbollah. What might hold up the deal?

Senior Israeli officials have been meeting continuously with US Envoy Amos Hochstein in the last few days, during which most of the points for an agreed ceasefire proposal with Hezbollah were made, according to Channel 14 News.

The proposal is set to be delivered by Hochstein to Lebanese leaders during a planned visit in the next few days.

However, neither Israel nor the United States is sure that Hezbollah will accept the deal, and they believe that they will reject two core demands: 1. negotiations under fire - Hezbollah has repeatedly insisted that the IDF unilaterally cease fire followed by negotiation and 2. IDF enforcement of violations with firepower.
