Secretary of State Anthony Blinken spoke today (Tuesday) with Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, discussing a number of issues regarding the various fronts of the war.

Blinken told Dermer that there is importance in ending the war in Gaza and returning all the hostages to their homes.

Dermer also presented Blinken with all the changes Israel had made in expanding humanitarian aid to Gazan civilians, likely with the hope of avoiding threatened American sanctions over the issue.

The two also spoke regarding a possible diplomatic solution in Lebanon which would "enable the return of citizens from both sides" to their homes along the border.
