In light of the investigation by the "Makor" program, in which several cases are expected to be published where the Minister of National Security allegedly broke the law and ordered things beyond his authority, the legal commentator of Channel 13 says that the Attorney General will clarify to Netanyahu that he must fire Ben Gvir.

According to commentator Baruch Krah, the Attorney General is expected to present the Prime Minister with a kind of evidence file prepared by the prosecution against Minister Ben Gvir, which indicates that he acted in several cases in ways that are not within his authority. Consequently, Harav-Miara will clarify to Netanyahu that without a change, Minister Ben Gvir should be dismissed from his position.

The Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, responded to the remarks and said: "The leak of the Attorney General's statement to her spokesperson Baruch Kra in News 13, that she will 'require' the Prime Minister to fire me, shows what was already clear: News 13 and the Attorney General are working together to overthrow the right-wing government, and after failing at the polls, they are trying to do so through investigations against the Prime Minister, 'investigations' against me, and inviting petitions to the High Court with a predetermined stance."

According to Ben Gvir, "The Attorney General and the left-wing media no longer bother to hide their mafia-like methods – I call on the Prime Minister again to dismiss the Attorney General who is acting against the government from her position."
