The international magazine 'Business Insider' reveals that Iran has developed a chemical weapon based on fentanyl – a drug that could be particularly dangerous if supplied to terrorist organizations like Hezbollah and Hamas.

According to the report, quoted on the 'Israel Hayom' website, an American expert warns that Iran has developed a weapon based on synthetic opioids, such as fentanyl and tranquilizers for animals, which could cause significant harm to soldiers or civilians if introduced into grenades or artillery held by the enemy. It was also reported that Iran may have already armed terrorist organizations, such as Hezbollah, with the new chemical weapon – which terrorists could use to abduct Israeli soldiers or civilians.

Let's remember, the U.S. and its allies have warned for years that Iran is developing drug-based weapons. This is in clear violation of the 1997 Chemical Weapons Convention.
