Following the brutal pogrom carried out by Muslim immigrants against Maccabi Tel Aviv fans last weekend, Wolfson Medical Center is updating on the condition of the injured.

After two days filled with hardships and fear for all those Israeli fans, about 2,000 injured were brought to the country on a rescue flight, 15 of them with head and limb injuries. Six injured individuals in stable and mild condition arrived at Wolfson Medical Center. All six were treated over the weekend and discharged home.

A few hours after the brutal lynching, in which fans were humiliated and beaten in what appeared to be an organized horror show, more details about the difficult event were published.

According to Israeli sources, the organization for the riots was spontaneous and local, occurring close to the game, and was not directed by any state, such as Iran, for example. In other words, the decision to organize a lynching of the fans was probably made hours before the game through social media.

Additionally, during the evening yesterday, indicative signs reached security officials here in the country. The Mossad and the Diaspora Affairs Ministry updated the relevant security officials in the Netherlands that there is a warning about an organization in city centres to attack Israelis.

It was also reported that the embassy's security officer spoke directly with the police in the Netherlands, informed them about the organization, and called for reinforcing the local police forces to "surround the fans as they leave the stadium until they reach the hotels in the city center."

According to the report, the police knew that problems might arise and reinforced their forces, but of course, it wasn't enough, and we saw the results on the ground. In the evening hours, the Shin Bet and the National Security Council were informed by the Mossad that this is what is expected to happen.

It was also claimed that last night a social media post in the Netherlands stated that an Israeli passport was stolen, with the claim that the person was a fighter who fought in Gaza, and called on others to join and attack Israeli fans.
