IDF discovers thousands of hours of Hamas torturing Palestinians
They were located at a base in Jabaliya, which the IDF raided in March. A young man who fled Gaza said: "We gave two years of electric shocks to the detainee - and then it turned out that he was innocent."

The Daily Mail reported that the IDF discovered videos documenting interrogations and torture of Palestinian civilians in Gaza by Hamas members.
The photos show, among other things, prisoners with sacks on their heads, chained to the floor and ceiling. In one video, a man is seen screaming in pain. All these are being made public, while there are still 101 abductees in Gaza – 401 days after the October 7 massacre – many of them still alive.
The shocking videos – which include thousands of hours of interrogation and torture – were apparently filmed by security cameras inside a Hamas base in the northern Gaza Strip that the IDF raided earlier this year.
The photographs were discovered on computers taken from the abandoned compound in the Jabaliya refugee camp. According to the timestamp on the side of the photograph, it appears that the torture was filmed between 2018 and 2020.
It is unclear why the men were held there, but human rights experts have warned more than once that Palestinians are being abducted from their homes and tortured by Hamas members. LGBT men and adulterers are among those tortured by Hamas, along with political opponents and anyone suspected of collaborating with Israel.
