Just the oldest story in the book

World blames victims of Amsterdam attacks: "The Jews started it"

Jews just can't get a break these day. Even something as benign as cheering for our favorite soccer team is an excuse to be lynched and abused. When will it end?

We have seen it happen again and again since October 7th - Jews being attacked in the streets of New York and in American college campuses and all over the world.

On Thursday night, we were horrified to watch the disturbing footage coming out of Amsterdam as Israeli soccer fans were viciously, brutally attacked by antisemitic thugs.

But instead of blaming the attackers, the world was only too happy to play the blame game.

As reported by The New York Times, "The authorities in Amsterdam said supporters of Maccabi had taken down a Palestinian flag from a building. A video posted to social media and verified shows men climbing a building to tear down a Palestinian flag while others nearby shout anti-Arab chants. One man is heard saying in Hebrew, “The people of Israel live,” while others shout anti-Palestinian chants using expletives."

One online newspaper had this headline: Israeli hooligans target Palestinian symbols, stirring tension in Amsterdam.

Another publication said this, "Travelling fans verbally abuse locals and tear down Palestine flags before fights break out with Dutch youth."

A third publication reported, "Supporters of the Israeli football club Maccabi Tel Aviv reportedly stormed the city, tearing down Palestinian flags on private property and chanting provocative slogans before and after their match against Ajax ... Israeli fans clashed with bystanders, vandalizing property and setting a Palestinian flag on fire ... Maccabi fans not only damaging private property but also assaulting a local taxi driver and confronting law enforcement officers.

Max Blumenthal, editor of The Grayzone News, said:

“Many videos going around of Israeli football goons vandalizing property in Amsterdam, attacking cops and bystanders and ripping down Palestinian flags. Now this fascist infestation is playing the victim and waiting for airlifts back to the colonies.”"

Firstly, some of these reports are just plain out lies.

And secondly, even if any of these things were true, does that actually justify what happened?! Hundreds of terrorists chasing down Jews, ramming them, stabbing them and humiliating them. One Jew was drowned and the attackers wouldn't let him out of the canal until he said 'Free Palestine.'

Others were injured and had to be taken to hospital. Israel sent rescue personnel and planes to evacuate stranded, bloodied Israelis.

In what could be seen as an eery coincidence, the Amsterdam pogrom happened 86 years after Kristalnacht, almost to the day. And the scenes of Jews being beaten and abused for no reason- aside from their being Jews- are all too familiar.

Honestly, it's the oldest story in the world. It goes back as far as we Jews do.

The Jews are always in the wrong. It doesn't matter what we do or how. At the end of the day– we deserve abuse because we are too Jewish.

You would think that in 2024, the world wouldn't buy this kind of nonsense.

Sadly, you would be wrong.
