These attacks, carried out by Iranian-backed militias, have raised concerns in Israel about the need to take action within Iraq to target Iranian operations there, according to a report by Kan 11 News.

In parallel, the United States has been pressuring Iraq to take responsibility for curbing these attacks, some of which have also targeted U.S. forces stationed in the country. A U.S. official stated that "Iraq must take action to prevent armed groups from launching attacks from its territory."

Amid rising threats from Iran, Israel has heightened its vigilance in anticipation of potential attacks. Iran has recently escalated its rhetoric, vowing to launch strikes against Israel. On Thursday, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) conducted situational assessments regarding the threat of an Iranian assault, but no significant developments from the Iranian side have been identified so far. As a result, the directives from Israel's Home Front Command remain unchanged for the time being.
