BREAKING: 1 wounded as barrage of 40 Hezbollah rockets strike the North

Sirens sounded, warning of incoming rocket fire. One person was wounded and has been taken to hospital for further treatment.

Air raid sirens sounded earlier along the coast north of Haifa. The sirens were also heard in Acre, Nahariya and the Haifa suburbs, as reported by the Times of Israel.

According to the IDF, 40 rockets were fired from Lebanon during this barrage. Some of them were shot down, while others struck inside Israel.

The MDA Spokesperson provided this update:

MDA paramedics and EMTs are providing medical treatment to an 85-year-old man who was injured; he is in mild condition, conscious, with shrapnel wounds to his lower limbs and suffering from acute anxiety. MDA medics are taking him to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya for treatment.
