The IDF revealed a short time ago today (Monday) that its recent strike in Syria in the area of Damascus was targeting Hezbollah's Intelligence headquarters structures.

According to the IDF, the Intelligence Headquarters is Hezbollah's central intelligence body, charged with building the organization's intelligence picture, leading intelligence operations as well as collection and discovery of information.

The IDF said that it seriously damaged Hezbollah's Intelligence Headquarters, destroying its assets in both Lebanon and Syria.

It also noted that Hezbollah knowingly endangers Syrian civilians by placing military compounds in civilian areas.
