A short time ago today (Sunday), Prime Minister Netanyahu posted a "heart felt congratulations" to Kemi Badenoch, who has just won the contest for leadership of the opposition Tory party in the United Kingdom.

Badenoch is known for being generally pro-Israel, and she sharply attacked the new Labour government's decision to suspend some arms licenses and review others as "political" rather than legal, saying that she saw the necessary material when she was Trade Secretary, according to the Jewish Chronicle.

Badenoch has also come under fire for her highly critical attitude towards what she calls "sectarian Islamist politics" and "malign and destructive identity politics."
