Under the direction of IDF Intelligence, the IAF conducted an airstrike over the past week, targeting and eliminating Raafat Ibrahim Mahmoud Akdeih, a Nukhba operative involved in the October 7th attack on Kibbutz Nir Oz. During the conflict, Akdeih also served as an aide to the commander of Islamic Jihad’s Nukhba forces within the Khan Yunis Brigade.

On the Lebanese front, The IAF carried out a targeted strike, eliminating Farouk Amin Alasi, the Hezbollah commander overseeing operations in the Khiam area. Alasi was responsible for numerous anti-tank missile and rocket attacks directed at Israeli communities in the Galilee Panhandle, particularly in Metula.

In addition, the IDF eliminated Yousef Ahmad Nun, a Radwan Forces company commander in Khiam, who orchestrated rocket and anti-tank missile assaults on Galilee communities and IDF forces stationed nearby.

IDF forces continue their operational activities across southern Lebanon, successfully neutralizing Radwan Forces and additional Hezbollah operatives through a combination of aerial strikes and close-quarters combat. Large caches of Hezbollah weaponry were also uncovered during these operations.
