IRGC Quds Force commander Esmail Qa'ani said today (Thursday) that he congratulated Hezbollah's new leader, Sheikh Naim Qassem, on his appointment to the head of the terrorist organization, according to Iran International.

Qa'ani said that the forces under his command would remain by Hezbollah's side until "the removal of the evil tree of Zionism and the liberation of Palestine and Jerusalem."

Meanwhile, Iranian leaders are also saying that a retaliation for Israel's air strike on its military facilities is a "done deal" and that Iran has always retaliated in the past for such attacks and will do so again.

CENTCOM commander General Michael Kurilla will be visiting Israel to coordinate any possible defense and response to such an attack, should it occur, and American THAAD systems are already in place for such an eventuality.
