An unnamed IDF division was set to launch an offensive into Lebanon but has been ordered to suspend it until further notice, as it is being reexamined while ceasefire negotiations are ongoing, per Israel Hayom.
For security reasons, the identity, location, and mission of the IDF division in question were not disclosed.
The United States has sent Envoys Amos Hochstein and Brett McGurk to try and broker a ceasefire in the north between Israel, Lebanon, and Hezbollah, and they met today with Prime Minister Netanyahu and separately with Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer.
During his meeting with the envoys, Netanyahu "made it clear that the main point is not this or that agreement on paper but Israel's ability and determination to enforce the agreement and thwart any threat to its security from Lebanon, in a manner that will return our residents securely to their homes."
