Farmer and father of four: Omer Weinstein was murdered by Hezbollah rocket fire today

Five civilians were murdered when Hezbollah fired rockets into Israeli territory today. These include four agricultural workers from Thailand, and Omer Weinstein.

Hezbollah launched a barrage rockets into the settlements of the Upper Galilee and the Karmiel area earier today (Thursday). One of these rockets fell in the Metula area in an open area.

As a result, five people were killed after being fatally injured and another person was seriously injured. These include four foreign workers and an farmer. Another foreign worker was seriously injured and transferred to the Rambam Hospital for continued treatment.

The deceased farmer is Oren Weinstein (47), a father of four from Kibbutz Dafna.

The kibbutz said: "The community of Kibbutz Dafna mourns and shares in the deep sorrow of Hadas, his wife, his children and the entire extended family. Details about the funeral will be announced later."
