One of the graduates of the graduation ceremony of the combat officers' course today at Bahad 1 is the grandson of the head of the Druze community in Israel, Sheikh Mufak Trif.
Chief of Staff Halevi met the sheikh before the ceremony and expressed great appreciation for all members of the Druze community who play a significant part in the IDF.
In his speech at the ceremony, Netanyahu went out of his way to praise Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi.
