Four IDF soldiers were killed in battles in the northern Gaza Strip: Capt. Yehonatan Keren, Sgt. Naor Haimov, Sgt. Nissim Meital, and Sgt. Aviv Gilboa.
Capt. Yehonatan (Johnny) Keren, 22 years old, from Moledet, a combat officer in Unit 888, fell in battle in the northern Gaza Strip.
Sergeant Nissim Meital, 20 years old, from Hadera, a fighter in Unit (888), fell in battle in the north of the Gaza Strip.
Sergeant Aviv Gilboa, 21 years old, from Neve Tzuf, a fighter in Unit (888), fell in battle in the north of the Gaza Strip.
Sergeant Naor Haimov, 22 years old, from Rosh Ha'Ayin, a fighter in Unit 888, fell in battle in the north of the Gaza Strip.
In the same incident in which Captain Yehonatan (Johnny) Keren, Sgt. Aviv Gilboa, Sgt. Nissim Meital and Sgt. Naor Haimov were killed, a combat officer in Unit 888 was seriously injured. The officer was taken to the hospital for medical treatment, and his family was informed.
Last night, 25-year-old Major Guy Yaakov Nezri from Atlit, a company commander in the 52nd battalion of the 401st Armored Brigade, died of his wounds after being seriously injured in a battle in the northern Gaza Strip on October 19.
Nezri was seriously injured in the incident in which Sergeant Ofir Berkovich (20) from Modi'in-Maccabim Reut, and Sergeant Elishai Jung (19) from Dimona, were hit by anti-tank missile fire in the battle in Jabaliya.
Nezri is survived by his parents, a twin sister and a brother. His funeral will be held in Atlit, the date will be announced later.
