A drone that entered Israeli territory from Yemen this morning (Tuesday) triggered sirens in the Ashkelon area and fell in an open area without causing damage. A second drone crossed the border from Lebanon into the Western Galilee, landing in the Nahariya area. A train wagon and a private vehicle were damaged - no injuries were reported.

The IDF said that "following warnings activated at 7:09 a.m. in the Western Galilee area, an unmanned aerial vehicle crossed into Israeli territory from Lebanon. Falls were identified in the Nahariya area." Shrapnel hit one of the cables of the pedestrian bridge and a train wagon.

It was also reported that another drone crossed into Israeli territory in the Ashkelon area, fell in an open area, causing no casualties. The police said that after the drone exploded, a thorn fire was identified that had broken out in an open area in Ashkelon.

Subsequently, the IDF said that after an initial investigation, it emerged that the drone that fell in Ashkelon was launched from Yemen. The Air Force intercepted the drone that crossed into Israel from Lebanon.
