Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the opening of the Knesset's winter session regarding the Israeli strike in Iran and said: "We did not attack small explosives laboratories but industrial death factories, and we hit them significantly."
Netanyahu also said: "I thank our American friends, but we examine the goals ourselves based on our own considerations."
Additionally, Netanyahu referred to the war in the Gaza Strip and said, "Even in these moments, in these days, we are seeking ways and we will bring all the captives home."
Netanyahu addressed the criticism against the management of the war: "I hear all the former officials in the studios asking what the strategy is." Well then – the strategy is to dismantle the axis of evil, sever its arms in the south and the north, and prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. We will not give up on achieving this goal. It's at the top of our priorities.
In his speech, Netanyahu presented the issue of 'the day after' and said: "I aspire to continue with the Abraham Accords and to achieve agreements with additional Arab countries, important countries." They see the blows we are striking against the axis of evil, they aspire like us to a stable, secure, and prosperous Middle East.
At the end of his speech, he said: "Israel is a stronger country than ever, and it will be even stronger." We will revive the economy to flourish again with the arrival of victory, and we will turn the kibbutzim into vibrant homeland regions. Flourishing fields have turned into battlefields, and they will once again turn into flourishing fields, flourishing towns, and flourishing kibbutzim.
