A diplomatic source speaking with Lebanese media said today (Sunday) that Nabih Berri, Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, informed Qatar and Egypt that Hezbollah agrees to negotiate a ceasefire separately from the Gaza negotiations.

Berri reportedly also said that Hezbollah is willing to do its part of UN Resolution 1701, which includes the disarmament of all non-state forces south of the Litani, subject to a "whole set" of other decisions.

The source also noted that the Lebanese issue was also being discussed in Qatar, where separate negotiations with Hamas are also being conducted.
