The IDF Spokesperson's Office reported today (Tuesday), following the sirens sounded in the Galilee and Nahariya and the surrounding area, that about 30 launches that crossed from Lebanese territory were identified – some of which were intercepted.
"Following the warnings activated between 1:27 and 1:28 a.m. in the Upper Galilee and Western Galilee areas," the statement said, "about 30 launches that crossed from Lebanese territory were identified. Some of them were intercepted, hits were identified in the area."
Also, earlier today sirens sounded in Neot Mordechai, and there was a fall in the area. Ziv Medical Center reported that two casualties were evacuated from the latest barrage in the Neot Mordechai area, both conscious. They are defined as in moderate condition, and are being treated in the trauma room.
The barrages towards the north come after a night of intensive attacks in Beirut, which targeted terrorist targets in the area. Among the targets – the main base of the Hezbollah terrorist organization's naval unit in Beirut was attacked, which served the unit as the organization's main center of activity: storing high-speed vessels, conducting experiments and training for the organization's naval force.
