Update: Two soldiers wounded in terrorist attack near Dead Sea; Manhunt for 3rd terrorist underway 

According to reports, two terrorists were neutralized, forces continue to search for a third; An IDF soldier and a reserve soldier were lightly and moderately wounded in the shooting attack.

Three terrorists infiltrating from Jordan and opened fire on security forces in the area of the moshav Neot Hakikar in the southern Dead Sea area a short time ago today (Friday). The forces fired back and neutralized two of them.

During the exchange of fire with the terrorists, an IDF soldier and another reserve soldier sustained minor and moderate injuries and were evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment, their families were informed. It was reported earlier today that apparently three terrorists infiltrated the scene, with two killed at the scene – but there is one terrorist who escaped.
