After a five-day hiatus, IAF fighter jets recently attacked, under the precise intelligence guidance of the Intelligence Directorate, strategic weapons stored in an underground warehouse of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in Dahiya, Beirut.

An IDF spokesperson said that "prior to the attack, many steps were taken to reduce the chances of harm to civilians, including advance warnings to the population in the area."

Over the past few days it has been reported in various sources that Israel had agreed, under pressure from the United States, to stop attacking targets in the Lebanese capital, fearing that it would provoke a regional war.
