On Tuesday, the British government imposed sanctions on Israeli settler organizations it accused of inciting violence against Palestinian communities in Judea and Samaria.

The UK called on Israel to halt the expansion of settlements on "Palestinian land". The sanctions specifically target seven settler outposts or organizations believed to facilitate, incite, promote, or support activities that constitute serious human rights abuses against Palestinians.

British Foreign Minister David Lammy stated, "The inaction of the Israeli government has allowed an environment of impunity to flourish, where settler violence has increased unchecked."

He highlighted that settlers had also targeted schools and families with young children.
