There is growing concern for the well-being of Aviad Farhi, an Israeli citizen, who traveled to Uman for Rosh Hashanah.

Farhi was last seen in the early morning of Wednesday, October 8, in northern Romania’s Suceava.

Search and rescue efforts by his insurance company Passportcard have been underway since Thursday. These efforts are being made in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Israeli Consul in Romania and the Israel Police.

A special tracking team was sent last Thursday to Romania to lead the search efforts in the country.
