Four fallen Israeli soldiers named after deadly Hezbollah drone strike 

The IDF has confirmed the deaths of Sergeants Omri Tamari, Yosef Hieb, Yoav Agmon, and Alon Amitay in Sunday’s attack  by Hezbollah which directly hit a dining room at the Golani divisional training base.

The IDF allowed this morning (Monday) the publication of the names of four IDF soldiers killed yesterday in the explosion of a drone launched by Hezbollah at the Golani Brigade training base near Binyamina.

Sergeant Omri Tamari, 19, from Mazkeret Batya; Sergeant Yusef Haib, 19, from Tuba Zangaria; Sergeant Yoav Agmon, 19, from Binyamina Givat Ada; and Sergeant Alon Amitai, 19 years old from Ramot Naftali.

All of them were in infantry training at the Golani Brigade base. The soldiers were promoted from corporal to sergeant posthumously.

In the same drone explosion, eight soldiers, also from Golani Hospital, were seriously injured yesterday.

The IDF also allowed publication that a reserve soldier from the 8101st Battalion of the Alexandroni Brigade was seriously wounded yesterday in battle in southern Lebanon. In addition, a soldier from the 46th Hashan Battalion of the 401st Brigade was also seriously wounded yesterday in battle in the southern Gaza Strip. The IDF said the wounded were evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment and their families were informed.
