Report: IDF strike on Iran dependent on US coordination, not election

A senior source speaking to Israel Hayom said that the IDF is interested in maximal cooperation with the US and seeks to hurt Iran in a way that deters further aggression but is not felt as intervention in the election.

A senior source speaking to Israel Hayom today (Sunday) said that the planned IDF strike on Iran will take place before the American election, but in full coordination with the United States.

The source reportedly said that the strike will take place after all preparations had been made and after full coordination with the US had been assured. The aim of the strike is to deter Iran from further aggression while not being seen as an attempt to influence the American election.

Israel continues to be deliberately vague about its planned targets, but it has reportedly dropped an attack on Iran's nuclear sites in favor of military and possibly oil infrastructure sites.
