Forty people are reported wounded from a drone attack in Binyamina today (Sunday), which is located between Haifa and Hadera.

According to authorities, four of these are critically wounded and five seriously wounded.

According to Israel Hayom, no siren was triggered by the drone.

A mass casualty incident was declared and helicopters were dispatched to the scene to transport the injured.

MDA (Magen David Adom) spokesman Eli said: "Currently, all of the injured are en route to hospitals. We are still searching the area to ensure there are no additional casualties."

According to the United Hatzalah spokeswoman: "The medical teams of United Hatzalah are currently providing first aid to a large number of victims (over 20) at the scene of the incident in the Binyamin Sector (Menashe Regional Council). Some are in serious condition. We will provide updates later."

According to reports, the drone fired a missile and then exploded on the ground.

The Air Force is currently trying to trace the route and figure out why the drone, which appears to have been launched from Lebanon, did not trigger the siren.
