The IDF continues intense operational activities even during the fasting hours, with dozens of terrorists eliminated in airstrikes and firefights in Lebanon and Gaza.
In southern Lebanon, the forces continued their operations to deepen the manoeuvre on the ground, with Air Force fighter jets carrying out over 200 strikes on targets of the terrorist organization Hezbollah. Additionally, artillery strikes were conducted against a series of targets in the southern Lebanon area.
The forces on the ground leading operations in the southern Lebanon area identified several entrances to underground tunnels during the fighting in the past 24 hours, including infrastructure for storing weapons. Among them are rocket launchers, mortar bombs, and anti-tank weapons aimed at the northern settlements and the forces operating in the area. Additionally, the forces located weapons, arms, and ammunition belonging to Hezbollah militants.
In parallel to the activities in the north, the fighting forces continued their operations in the Gaza Strip. After the IDF returned to the Jabalia camp, the forces began intensifying their activities in the area over the weekend. The fighters operated in the area, destroying terrorist infrastructure and eliminating dozens of militants.
Forces from Division 162 eliminated more than 20 terrorists in the past 24 hours through tank fire, short-range exchanges of gunfire, and airstrikes. The forces have eliminated about 200 terrorists so far in operations in the area.
In the central Gaza Strip, fighters from Division 252 eliminated several terrorist cells, including terrorists who were engaged in anti-tank fire towards our forces. In Rafah, Gaza Division forces eliminated several militants who were planning to attack the troops.
