Swedish police announced on Thursday that they are investigating a shooting incident near what is believed to be an Israeli target in Gothenburg. According to Sweden’s national broadcaster SVT, the site in question is a local unit of Israeli defense contractor Elbit Systems.

No injuries were reported, authorities confirmed. Police apprehended a young suspect at the scene and have launched a preliminary investigation into suspected attempted murder and serious weapons offenses.

The police spokesperson declined to comment on whether the Israeli company was the intended target. Elbit Systems in Sweden has yet to respond to requests for comment.
