Hadera attack claims life of Rabbi Raphael Mordechai Fishhoff

After a 24-hour battle, the revered rabbi passes away following fatal injuries sustained in yesterday’s assault.

Rabbi Raphael Mordechai Fishhoff, who was seriously wounded in yesterday's (Wednesday) stabbing attack in Hadera, passed away.

Six people were wounded in the attack, including 2 men aged 50 and 70 in serious condition, 3 men aged 60, 70 and 55 in moderate condition, with penetrating wounds to their bodies.

Initial investigations revealed that a terrorist stabbed and wounded a civilian on HaGitit Street in Hadera, after which the terrorist fled on a scooter and advanced to two more stabbing sites until he was arrested by civilians and neutralized by a policeman.

The terrorist who carried out the attack was Ahmed Jabareen, 36, an Israeli citizen from Umm al-Fahm.
