An Arab bus driver from the Afikim company posted a video on his TikTok account where he threatens to burn Jewish passengers and speaks rudely and curses Jewish passengers incessantly.
Following this, attorney Chaim Bleicher from the Honenu organization approached the police demanding the arrest of the driver. As mentioned, the Arab posted a video in which a Haredi passenger is seen and wrote: "Imagine if I had burned him." On the driver's TikTok account, there are several more videos where he curses Jewish passengers profusely.
In his letter, Attorney Bleicher describes the driver's severe incitement: "The driver named Abu Al-Majd uploaded anti-Semitic and threatening videos about Jews in traditional clothing on TikTok." In one video, the suspect films himself lighting a lighter against the backdrop of a passenger on a bus, simulating as if he is igniting a Jewish bus passenger in traditional attire. The driver writes on the page he posted, "Imagine if I had burned him."
In another video he uploads, where the bus is seen dirty, he says: "I find the bus, that's how it is with a nation of pigs, dirty and low." In another video uploaded by the suspect, apparently filmed by another suspect traveling on the bus, the driver is seen saying in Arabic, "Qalandiya, Ramallah, I'll f*** anyone who throws something on the floor," while in the background, passengers dressed in traditional Jewish attire are visible.
Attorney Bleicher appeals to the police to arrest the dangerous driver and bring him to justice: "Since the suspect is a bus driver for a public company, responsible for the lives and safety of hundreds of Jewish citizens every day, this is nothing less than a ticking time bomb." I request to arrest the suspect as soon as possible and bring him to justice for his actions.
Attorney Bleicher stated: "An anti-Semitic bus driver who publishes his inciting thoughts is nothing less than a ticking time bomb and poses a significant risk to citizens." We expect the driver to be arrested, prosecuted, and stripped of any ability to provide services in public transport.
