The Opposition Leader called on the "liberal public" not to protest those praying but to leave them alone and let them be "stuck with themselves."

Opposition Leader Yair Lapid called for respecting the Supreme Court decision today (Wednesday) allowing for traditional Yom Kippur prayers in Tel Aviv public area, including separators for men and women.

Lapid said that he "calls again to the liberal public not to let the rabble rousers who initiated these prayers have the fight they want. Don't go protest against because that's what they're looking for."

He said that "it's better to ignore them. Let them stay there alone, stuck with themselves. We will go to shared ceremonies of a tolerant, welcoming Judaism, which respects the true tradition of Israel."

Gideon Saar and Aryeh Deri both praised the ruling as "just and sane" and as a "sanctification of God's name."
